Anna Silk is Canadian actress that is most well-known in Canada for her role of Bo. Silk was produced in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. The daughter of Peter an academic as well as Ilkay Silk, a prominent performer, actress, and playwright and Director of Drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna was a child and watched her mother while at work, and also attending play rehearsals. Silk's work on television includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica and she won the Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. She landed a principal role as Bo Dennis, a succubus, as Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant during filming of season three's finale. She announced the news to viewers in the Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. On June 4 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the start of production on the fourth season. Then on the 20th of June 2013 Silk posted on Twitter that she was ready to return to the set of the show. CNN has named Bo's character alongside Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most watched TV couples of all time. E! voted it as top TV couple in 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk is one of the most watched shows on social media.
