Rene Marie Russo is an American actress filmmaker and former supermodel. Alongside her stunning elegance, her continued successes in the film industry is testament to her abilities as a performer. Modeling began in the 70s. In the next few years, she was one of the best models. In the early 1980s, she attended classes in acting and theater before performing on the stages in Los Angeles. Russo began her film debut in ABCs drama series Sable in 1987 as the character of Eden Kendell. In her first film Major League two years after, she played Tom Berengers romantic interest. Rose Namajunas was one of UFC's most popular female athletes. Her early days were spent as an amateur boxer who competed in regional promotions, before signing up with Invicta Fighting Championships. Then she became a member of in the Ultimate Fighting Championships. Since her entry into the UFC, she has become a household name due her achievements both in and out of the Octagon. Namajunas was a Lithuanian who immigrated to the United States. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on June 29, 1992. Rose was involved in a variety of games as a youngster, including basketball and Kickboxing. At 18 years old she had her first professional fight at Invicta Fighting Championships where she won two fights through submission. Dana White noticed this and when she was in December 2014 at age 22 she signed her for a fight as a strawweight for UFC. Rose has been through the highs and lows of her career. She has always won. Rose was a part of Carla Esparza to win the Women s Strawweight Championship in The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale. Rose won with a technical knockout in less than three minutes in the round One. Rose was also named Fighter Of The Night and made history as it marked the first time a women has ever been a fighter on a level of championships within a major promotion organisation across the globe. After this win, Namajunas went onto have several more successful fights including defeating Joanna Jedrzejczyk twice which earned her Performance Of The Night honors from UFC in the wake of these wins .
